G.L. Davies is the author of the worldwide bestseller 'Haunted: The Horror of Haverfordwest' and 'Ghost Sex: The Violation'.

In this episode, we discuss his recent title, Harvest: The True Story of Alien Abduction.

Born in 1975, G L Davies lives in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. He has studied hauntings in 19th-century literature. He is also the host of The Paranormal Chronicles podcast. Listen at theparanormalchroniclespodcast.podbean.com.

Davies’ investigations presented in book form have sold over 125,000 copies and have been number one in seven different countries. His passion has always been for the paranormal and he has spent years listening to and collating local ghost stories and myths. He admits he is on the fence in terms of his beliefs; he has witnessed many strange occurrences in his life but prefers to travel the psychological and rational route before making any assumptions. He respects the views of all on the subject, maintaining that no person alive has the necessary knowledge and understanding of time, space, and the intricacies of the human mind to be certain about the paranormal. Davies' paranormal reports for theparanormalchronicles.com, launched in October 2013, have made national and international news.

G.L Davies describes himself as down to earth and passionate about the paranormal. He has been quoted as saying, “There will be a day where the paranormal will simply be known as normal. I long for that day.”

Ep109 Radiate Holistic Health with Dr. Carissa Stanton

9/22/2020

Picture
Carissa Stanton, MD, is a pediatrician who started her own virtual and direct pediatric care practice, Mindful Pediatrics, to provide holistic care for children in their own homes to make them more well, not just less sick. She cares for the whole child by integrating nutrition, functional, and general pediatric medicine. She has a bachelors of science degree in dietetics and a medical doctorate degree. She did several years of residency training in surgery at University of Kansas Medical Center and pediatric surgery research at Children's Mercy Hospital. But she found what kids really needed was her nutrition and healthy lifestyle knowledge and that she could help more through primary care. So she switched specialty training and completed a residency and board certification in General Pediatrics.

She has training in nutrition and integrative medicine that she obtained outside of the traditional medical training. Besides her undergraduate degree in nutrition, she did online pediatric integrative medicine training through the University of Arizona. She takes this passion and knowledge of nutrition and integrative medicine and applies it to helping families and children be more well.

After working for 10 years in the managed care system, she struggled to provide the care she wanted to give. It became more apparent that families need in-home, individualized holistic healthcare for their children, so she opened her own direct primary care practice: Mindful Pediatrics.
