hypnosis servicesHypnosis is a normal state of relaxation or level of concentration that the average person reaches several times a day. We are in and out of self hypnosis several times a day: when we’re absorbed in a TV program; experiencing repetition, such as highway driving; exercising; or daydreaming.
There are various types of hypnosis, all with different goals and outcomes. Christi holds certifications in three forms of hypnosis: Clinical Hypnosis, Introspective Hypnosis, and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, or QHHT. Does hypnosis work?
Clinical Hypnosis Hypnosis has been endorsed by the American Medical Association as a valid therapeutic tool since 1958. Clinical “Hypnotherapy” can be conducted in person or remotely via Zoom web conferencing. It is a form of guided relaxation using concentration and imagination, where the ideas expressed by the therapist, also known as “suggestions,” are generally experienced more vividly, creating a new awareness. Depending on a person’s motivations, there may be a shift in attitude about specific subject matters, such as habits and stress. The only requirement for getting therapeutic results is a conscious desire to change, or in other words, being in agreement with the suggestions. Clinical hypnosis can help with addiction, anxiety, confidence, fears and phobias, physical and emotional healing, weight loss, smoking cessation, stress reduction, and more. Introspective Hypnosis Introspective Hypnosis, as taught by Antonio Sangio, is a powerful technique that helps with repatterning painful memories, deep forgiveness work, ancestral healing, physical and emotional healing, and past life healing. This form of hypnosis can be done in person or remotely via Zoom web conferencing. Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique “QHHT” is the practice developed by the late Dolores Cannon. Christi is one of 30 Level 3 practitioners in the world. This form of healing works with the Higher Self, or the Subconscious, to discover past, concurrent, or even future lives that have a bearing on the client's current life. It also provides direct communication with the Subconscious, which can scan and heal the body and give the client direction to gain greater understanding, achieve goals, and answer long-held questions. QHHT is only conducted in person. FAQs about Hypnosis: 1. Do people do things under hypnosis that are against their morals or values? Hypnosis cannot detach the ego. As a general rule, if you were given a suggestion that you not agree with, you would simply refuse, laugh at it, or simply awaken from hypnosis. In stage hypnosis, volunteers are usually under the influence of alcohol and have come to the show for the purpose of relaxing, acting silly, and having a good time. Therefore, they are easily encouraged to do so. Because inhibitions are often reduced under hypnosis, the subject is more likely to experience his or her inner character traits and motivations. Yet, if an individual feels these inner character traits are inappropriate, they do not reveal them. Beliefs and values stay intact during any act that involves hypnosis. 2. Can a person’s memory be erased? No. If you want to remember what happened under hypnosis, or have memories from the past, you will. In some cases if the client wants to forget something, amnesia can be produced with a post hypnotic suggestion, but it wears off as quickly as the subject wishes. However, a certified hypnotherapist can help a person transform a memory which may be causing problems. The mind contains unconscious memories which generally are responsible for our decisions, attitudes, feelings, and behaviors. 3. Can everyone be hypnotized? Yes, provided you have normal physiological and psychological functioning, and therefore the ability to concentrate and relax. As long as you are willing, you may undergo hypnosis. Insusceptible people are simply not willing. There is a positive correlation between a person’s willingness to relax and concentrate and the ability to undergo hypnosis. 4. Do people under hypnosis go to sleep or become unconscious? No. Clients should not expect to go to sleep. Hypnosis is a state of hyper awareness that feels very relaxing. You are completely aware of everything that is occurring in the surrounding environment, as well as that which is happening in the inner mind. Hypnosis is a state of consciousness located somewhere between being awake and asleep. Some fatigued people may go out of hypnosis by falling into natural sleep simply because they are tired. In this case, if a client is trying to recall a memory, he or she can’t do so while sleeping, so he or she needs to be awakened. On the other hand, if a client is listening to a self hypnosis tape and falls out of hypnosis into sleep, the suggestions will likely still be effective. Sleep is also a learning state. client testimonials: |
