Currently working on their second graduate degree, an MDiv at Starr King in the USA, Pablo's first graduate degree was a MA in Religions of Asia and Africa from SOAS University of London where their concentration was in Zoroastrianism, Kurdish Studies, and New Religious Movements.
While there, they were affiliated with the Shapoorji Pallonji Institute of Zoroastrian Studies where they learned Zoroastrian history, theology, and the Avestan language among other topics from some of the top scholars in the field. Pablo is also unique as an officially accepted convert into Zoroastrianism, having undergone their Sedreh Pooshi in 2018 in the United States, and having been invited to speak at Zoroastrian conferences and events.
They are an active independent lecturer, having delivered lectures on a variety of spiritual, academic, and special interest topics in multiple countries. Pablo's hobbies include travel and pilgrimage, antiquarian artifacts and book collecting, table-top roleplaying games, spirituality and mysticism, and trying out all sorts of delicious-looking dishes.
